Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archibald Tuttle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Russo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Archibald Tuttle! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Russo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tuttle throws a leg kick
and Russo counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Russo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Tuttle is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Tuttle pulls guard. Russo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tuttle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tuttle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Russo tries to free his leg and advance position but Tuttle is retaining full guard. Russo controlling from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Tuttle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Russo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Russo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Tuttle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Russo is aware though and is defending well. Russo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Tuttle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Russo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Russo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tuttle on the ground.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Russo stopping the sweep attempt from Tuttle. Russo wanted to stand there but Tuttle had control of the position. Russo looking to pass the guard.

Russo is thwarting Tuttle's attempts to control the position. Russo is looking to advance position but Tuttle won't allow it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Russo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Tuttle gets back to half guard. Tuttle wants to control but Russo is keeping busy and won't allow it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Russo stalling. Tuttle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Russo is working away from the top position though. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Russo tries a head kick but it misses.
Russo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tuttle. Tuttle circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Tuttle takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Tuttle walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Russo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Tuttle thuds his shin into the meat of Russo's side. A cross from Russo lands. Russo is looking to clinch but Tuttle is avoiding it.
Tuttle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Russo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tuttle thows a left - swing and a miss! Russo takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Russo. Tuttle shrugs it off though. Tuttle throws the left hand but Russo avoids the punch easily. A nice inside leg kick there by Russo. That's going to slow Tuttle down. Tuttle avoids a kick to the body.
Russo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tuttle paws at him with a jab and circles away. Russo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Russo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tuttle, pushing him back against the cage. Tuttle stalling in the clinch but Russo improves position. Nice elbow from Russo. Russo lands a nice knee to the body. Russo unloads a knee to the mid-section. Tuttle lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Tuttle is breathing heavily.
Tuttle ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tuttle no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Russo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Russo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tuttle moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Tuttle takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A slapping body kick lands there for Russo. Tuttle throws a solid leg kick but Russo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tuttle. Russo throws a push kick but Tuttle slaps the foot to one side. Ryan Russo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Russo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Russo clinches. A nice glancing elbow lands by Russo. Tuttle tries to pull guard but Russo holds him up against the cage and eventually Tuttle drops back down to his feet.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Russo is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Tuttle misses with an elbow over the top. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Russo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Russo lands an elbow just above Tuttle 's eye. Russo lands a nice elbow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Russo as Tuttle tries to tie him up. Russo has Tuttle pushed against the cage. Russo lands an elbow inside. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Russo misses with a wild body shot. Russo throws a nice outside leg kick. A head kick from Tuttle lands but Russo takes it in his stride. A decent looking body kick lands there for Russo. Russo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Tuttle tries to work over Russo's front leg with a kick but Russo checks it. That kick from Russo tenderised Tuttle's leg. Tuttle is trying to keep his angry face on. Tuttle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Russo closes the distance and clinches. Russo prevents a takedown attempt there.
Russo lands a damaging elbow. Tuttle is trying to pull guard but Russo has him pressed against the cage. Tuttle takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Russo landing knees to the body.

Tuttle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tuttle takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Tuttle slips a jab and a cross from Russo.
Russo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A low kick from Tuttle is predictable there
and Russo counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Tuttle with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Russo is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Knees to the body from Russo.
Russo lands an elbow inside that Tuttle shrugs off. Tuttle takes an elbow to the temple. Russo comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Tuttle wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tuttle tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Russo smiles and moves away.
Ryan Russo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Archibald Tuttle. Russo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tuttle's sensitive parts. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Tuttle - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Russo, and another! Tuttle is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
