Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lenny Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lenny Butler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mr Anderson! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Butler's waist but Butler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anderson off to one side. Butler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Anderson doesn't manage to clinch there - Butler circles away.
Butler gets a clinch. Butler slows down the pace here.
Butler manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Anderson looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson preventing the sweep. Butler is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Anderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Butler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Butler keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mr Anderson. Butler has a takedown stuffed. Anderson throws the kick towards the body but Butler avoids it. Butler slaps away a takedown attempt from Anderson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Butler changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anderson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Butler is trying to get an arm triangle but Anderson is defending well. Butler is breathing heavily. Anderson is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Anderson is looking to regain half guard here but Butler keeps moving and retains side control. Butler is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Anderson has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butler wants to control but Anderson is keeping him busy. Anderson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Anderson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Butler postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Anderson to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Butler circles away. Lenny Butler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Anderson. A head kick by Butler misses and Anderson counters with a body kick that stops Butler in his tracks momentarily. Anderson tries to sprawl but Butler drives through with a takedown into half guard. Anderson trying to control here.
Butler missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Anderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Butler is working away from the top position though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Butler perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lenny Butler dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Butler throws a right and a left that Anderson avoids nicely. Anderson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Butler's waist but Butler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anderson off to one side. Lenny Butler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Anderson tries to clinch but Butler moves out of range. Anderson moves out of range as Butler throws a body kick.

Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Butler tries to sprawl out of it but Anderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Butler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Butler throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Butler is in Anderson's guard. Butler trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Butler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground. Anderson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Butler! Butler can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson wants to control the pace but Butler is squirming around nicely. Anderson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Anderson looking to control but Butler is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Butler can't escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Butler tries to get back to half guard but can't. Anderson controlling from the full mount. Butler tries to hold on but Anderson pushes him away. Anderson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Butler tries to lock up and control but Anderson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Butler is squirming around, avoiding Anderson's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson prevents Butler from getting the reversal. Anderson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Anderson trying to control but Butler is having none of it. Butler throws a strike from the bottom but Anderson uses the opportunity to take his back. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Butler is defending well though. Anderson let's go of the attempt for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr Anderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Butler gets the takedown into side control. Butler tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Anderson pushes Butler away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Butler gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Butler stands up. Anderson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Butler looks to land a combination but Anderson avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butler darts in and clinches Anderson up against the cage. Anderson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Butler pulls his leg out and moves away.

Anderson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Anderson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Butler gets to his feet - Anderson follows without any prompting. Anderson misses with a wild combination.
Butler decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butler controlling the pace. Butler is just content to waste time from the top position. Anderson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Butler is one step ahead there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Butler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anderson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Butler has managed to get both his arms back between Anderson's legs - danger averted. Butler wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson wants to stand up but Butler is controlling him. Butler passes easily into side control. Nice work. Anderson is trying to get back to half guard. Butler moves into full mount! Butler tries to control but Anderson wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson is trying desperately to improve position. Anderson is squirming around, avoiding Butler's attempts to control the action. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lenny Butler clearly takes that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Anderson looks for a takedown but Butler sprawls well. Anderson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Butler on the side of the head. Butler avoids the head kick by Anderson.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

and Anderson counters with a nice body kick. Anderson wants to clinch. Anderson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Butler fails to land the takedown. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Anderson is defended easily by Butler. Lenny Butler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Anderson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butler clinches. Butler manages to break the clinch.

Anderson is fighting to maintain full guard but Butler has managed to sneak the leg through. Anderson tries to kick Butler off but Butler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Nice strikes from Butler there. Anderson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Butler is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Butler's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Butler throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Anderson to regain full guard. Butler wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Anderson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Butler rolls with it to try and escape but Anderson cranks on the arm and Butler is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
