The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webcke defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dixon.
Dixon has a takedown stuffed.
Dixon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Dixon.
Webcke checks the leg kick nicely there.
A jab from Webcke finds it's way through Dixon's defenses.
Dixon lands a head kick. Webcke smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Shane Webcke has been cut.

Dixon moves out of range of the strikes.
Webcke connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Webcke swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dixon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dixon jabs Webcke to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Webcke bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dixon's head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Webcke throws the left hand but Dixon avoids the punch easily.
Webcke lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Webcke keeps the fight on the outside.
Dixon tries to clinch up.
Nice takedown defense from Webcke. No joy for Dixon on that attempt.

Webcke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Webcke throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dixon was covering up waiting for the punch and Webcke finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dixon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Webcke manages to get himself to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Webcke can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dixon is really struggling to control Webcke but he's trying to hold on to the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Vince Dixon will probably get the nod.

Webcke swings wildly with an uppercut but Dixon uses good head movement to avoid it.

Webcke goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Dixon creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Webcke's defenses.
A bit of stalling here from Dixon.
Dixon pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Dixon pushes off an throws an elbow but Webcke leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Dixon tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Webcke's elbow.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Dixon can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

Dixon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Webcke walks away with a smile on his face. Dixon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dixon. Webcke does a little dance to reset his feet.
Webcke dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Webcke shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Webcke cracks Dixon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Webcke lands a big shot there that rocks Dixon but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vince Dixon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
