Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Steller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Math Rastafari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mac Steller!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Math Rastafari!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rastafari lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Mac Steller has been cut.
Rastafari stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rastafari wants it to stay on the feet.
Steller chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rastafari can pounce on him.
Rastafari throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Steller.
Steller tries to score with some ground and pound. Rastafari controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Steller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Steller sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Rastafari is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Rastafari wants to get back to his feet but Steller drags him back down.
Rastafari tries to bench press Steller off him but Steller keeps the position.
Rastafari is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Steller has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steller with the ground and pound but Rastafari regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Steller throws a strike but Rastafari avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Steller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Steller loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Rastafari utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Steller is in close to Rastafari's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Rastafari wants to stand up but Steller is controlling him.

Steller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rastafari is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rastafari is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Steller gets full guard.
Steller throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rastafari wants to get up but he can't break Steller's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Steller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rastafari gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Steller throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Rastafari wants to stand but Steller has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Steller is on top in guard.

Steller wants to control from the top but Rastafari keeps moving.

Rastafari wants to sweep but no luck.

Rastafari is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Steller is controlling him.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rastafari can do anything to dispel that myth.
Steller forces his way into half guard.
Steller looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Steller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Steller is working hard here to advance position.
Steller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mac Steller dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mac Steller's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters circling - Rastafari throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rastafari paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Steller looks for a takedown but Rastafari sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mac Steller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rastafari pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Rastafari takes a swing at Steller's ribcage but misses.
Rastafari lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Mac Steller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rastafari tries a head kick but it misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Steller.
Rastafari fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rastafari fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steller manages to avoid it.

Steller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rastafari was covering up waiting for the punch and Steller finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Steller shoots in looking for a takedown but Rastafari manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Steller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Steller avoids the head kick by Rastafari.
Steller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rastafari misses the jab.
Steller misses with a takedown attempt - Rastafari sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rastafari pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rastafari delivers a nice body kick.
Math Rastafari seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Steller looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Steller shoots in looking for a takedown. Rastafari tries to sprawl out of it but Steller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rastafari manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Steller moves away from the strike by Rastafari.
Steller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rastafari but Rastafari pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rastafari thows a body shot but no joy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Steller walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rastafari scores with a jab to the head.
A slow jab from Rastafari misses its intended target.
Steller fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Steller shoots in for a takedown but Rastafari shows good takedown defense.
Rastafari thuds a left hand into Steller's body.
Steller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Steller shoots in and drives through. Rastafari sprawls well.
Rastafari swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Steller.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rastafari with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rastafari throws an overhand right that drops Steller like a sack of potatoes! Rastafari dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
