Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Anderton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dravik Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone has chosen Warrior- Disturbed as his entrance music. Dravik Stone is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luiz Anderton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dravik Stone!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stone circles away quickly and effectively.

Anderton throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stone tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Anderton is in Stone's guard.
Anderton loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderton won't allow Stone to sweep him here.

Stone has his foot on Anderton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anderton works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anderton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stone manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Anderton gets back to half guard.
Stone is figuring out what he wants to do next.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stone is trying to control. Anderton wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Stone is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Stone is working for a kimura but Anderton is defending it quite comfortably.
Stone is looking to advance position but Anderton won't allow it.
Anderton is looking for a sweep. Stone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stone working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Anderton's thigh. Anderton counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Stone tries to free his leg and advance position but Anderton is retaining full guard.
Stone trying to control but Anderton is working from the bottom.
Stone with a flurry of punches that miss.
Anderton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Anderton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Anderton keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully.
Stone stops Anderton from standing up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stone slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Stone misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Stone goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Anderton has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stone but great work by Anderton.
Stone can't do much from the bottom here.

Anderton goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Stone rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Anderton's guard! Nice work there by Stone!
Stone is looking to work some ground and pound but Anderton has wrist control.
Stone advances to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Stone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Stone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Anderton defends it well.
Anderton tries to roll over but Stone keeps him under control.

Stone is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stone stalling away here and it's allowed Anderton to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dravik Stone dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Anderton misses with a body shot.
Stone shoots in for a double leg but Anderton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Stone gets a double leg takedown into Anderton's guard.
Stone trying to control but Anderton is working from the bottom.

Anderton is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stone defends well.
Stone passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Anderton gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Stone is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Anderton sees it coming and defends easily.

Stone looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Anderton wants to sweep but Stone has passed to side control!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stone working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Stone creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Anderton sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Stone misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Stone in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Anderton is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dravik Stone!
