Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders IV changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brooks tries to avoid it but Sanders IV manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brooks to the ground. Brooks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brooks throws a head kick but Sanders IV moves out of range.
Sanders IV misses with a straight right.
Brooks moves out of range as Sanders IV strikes.
Sanders IV needs to keep his hands up - Brooks had a free shot at his head there.
Brooks slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanders IV, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick misses from Brooks.
Sanders IV fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Sanders IV. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sanders IV scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Brooks wants to get back to full guard.
Brooks is defending against the submission attempts here by Sanders IV.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brooks tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Sanders IV wants to control but Brooks is keeping him busy.

Brooks is looking to regain half guard here but Sanders IV keeps moving and retains side control.

Sanders IV is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brooks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Brooks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanders IV. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sanders IV has an Americana. Brooks didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sanders IV is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sanders IV hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
