Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaydon Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arnold Van Damme has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jaydon Ace's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaydon Ace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arnold Van Damme! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ace tries a head kick but it misses.
Ace fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Van Damme sprawls well initially but Ace persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ace trying to control from half guard but Van Damme is working away. Ace with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ace tries to pass to full mount but Van Damme defends it. Ace sitting and controlling from the half guard. Van Damme is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ace's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ace's back! Van Damme is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Ace. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Ace manages to reverse the position and now he's in Van Damme's guard. Nice work there by Ace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ace is stalling in the full guard. Van Damme trying to keep a closed guard but Ace is proving a slippery customer.
Ace is pushing down on Van Damme's leg trying to pass to half guard. Van Damme is fighting to maintain full guard but Ace has managed to sneak the leg through. Van Damme works his way to full guard. Good work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Van Damme is on top in guard.
Ace wants to sweep here but Van Damme controlling him for the moment. Ace has control of Van Damme's left arm, preventing Van Damme from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Damme drops back looking for a leg! Ace is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ace manages to kick Van Damme off! Van Damme jumps back into Ace's guard. Ace keeping moving, preventing Van Damme from controlling successfully. Van Damme looking to pass the guard. Van Damme stopping the sweep attempt from Ace. Ace manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Van Damme manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Van Damme is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Van Damme working a defensive guard here.
Ace might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ace works a leg free and moves into half guard. Van Damme looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Van Damme looks gassed! Ace trying to control the action but Van Damme is working from the bottom. Ace moves into full mount! Van Damme won't be happy about that!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ace takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ace looking to control but Van Damme is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ace content just to control the position here. Ace has control of Van Damme's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Van Damme regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ace unloading with bombs! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaydon Ace dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ace looks for a takedown but Van Damme sprawls well. Ace tries a head kick but it misses.
Van Damme shoots in and bounces Ace off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Ace controls Van Damme momentarily but Van Damme frees himself. Ace is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Van Damme trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ace working for a triangle but Van Damme defends it easily.
Van Damme passes Ace's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Van Damme is working for a submission of some sort.
Van Damme is breathing heavily. Ace is pressing down on Van Damme's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Van Damme thows a big elbow that misses. Ace has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Ace working a defensive guard here.
Van Damme must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ace pulls Van Damme in close to prevent any damage. Ace keeping full guard, as Van Damme tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Van Damme looking to sit in guard and control but Ace gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ace advances to half guard. Van Damme looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ace trying to control the action but Van Damme is working from the bottom. Ace is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Van Damme is refusing to be controlled, as Ace sits in half guard.

Ace tries for a takedown but Van Damme circles away easily and Van Damme counters with a nice double leg into guard. Ace looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arnold Van Damme showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Van Damme doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ace counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Van Damme trying to control from the bottom.
Ace thows a huge punch but Van Damme dodges it nicely.

Ace tries to pass to full mount but Van Damme defends it. Ace scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Van Damme won't allow Ace to pass to mount. Van Damme wants to get back to full guard. Ace seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Van Damme does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ace frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ace looking to control and managing it successfully. Ace trying to control but Van Damme is having none of it. Ace controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Van Damme is looking to get to half guard. Ace is in the full mount, landing strikes. Ace tries to control but Van Damme wriggling away.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Jaydon Ace just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Van Damme uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Van Damme tries for a takedown but Ace circles away easily and Ace counters with a takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Van Damme's face as Ace controls the position. Van Damme is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Ace has just dragged him back down to the mat. Van Damme manages to get back to half guard. Van Damme is trying to get back to full guard. Ace is taking a breather. Van Damme says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Van Damme is trying to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jaydon Ace showed his dominance in that final round. I think Ace has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
