Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Gyver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilan Rotberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mac Gyver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ilan Rotberg! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gyver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rotberg paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rotberg shoots in but no luck this time. Rotberg swats away the attempt to clinch by Gyver. Rotberg loads up on a big right hand but Gyver slips the punch. Gyver throws a sloppy head kick and Rotberg moves out of range easily. Rotberg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Good work by Rotberg as he checks the leg kick. Gyver uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rotberg. Rotberg swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rotberg misses with a hook. Gyver ducked under it nicely. Rotberg blocks the body kick.
Rotberg has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gyver. Rotberg misses with a hook
and Gyver makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Both fighters circling a little - Gyver finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Gyver with a body punch. A glancing blow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rotberg moves out of range as Gyver strikes. Gyver turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Rotberg ducks under a wild hook from Gyver.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gyver lands a leg kick that knocks Rotberg off balance momentarily. Gyver scores with a nice head shot. Gyver swings for the body but Rotberg moves out of range.
Rotberg scores with a jab to the jaw. Nice shot lands for Rotberg. Gyver cracks the inside of Rotberg's front leg. Gyver misses with a head kick.
Gyver tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gyver tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gyver doesn't manage to clinch there - Rotberg circles away.
Gyver moves into the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gyver misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rotberg.
Gyver can't find room to land a body shot as Rotberg controls the action.
Gyver crunches a lovely knee into Rotberg's ribcage. Rotberg managing to block the knees to the body from Gyver.

Gyver is looking to control Rotberg's arms but Rotberg gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gyver has his back to the cage. Gyver unloads a knee to the mid-section. Rotberg looking for a takedown. Gyver throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rotberg blocks it with crossed arms. Gyver misses with a short punch on the inside. Rotberg is trying to break the clinch but Gyver has him pressed against the cage. Gyver tries to land a knee to the head but Rotberg blocks with his arms.

Rotberg blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Gyver throws a knee to the head but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rotberg is trying to break the clinch but Gyver is controlling him. Gyver gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rotberg.
Mac Gyver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ilan Rotberg. Rotberg wants to break free but Gyver has control.
Rotberg is trying to drag Gyver to the mat but Gyver just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Gyver trying to land knees to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gyver lands a knee to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mac Gyver dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ilan Rotberg's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gyver misses the jab. Gyver misses with a lunging right hand
and Rotberg cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mac Gyver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gyver tries to clinch there but Rotberg circles away.
Gyver fails in his attempt to clinch. Gyver is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rotberg takes one to the side of the head.
Rotberg misses the shot to the body. Gyver throws a head kick that half lands.

Gyver sizes up Rotberg with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Gyver fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rotberg. Ilan Rotberg is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gyver wants to clinch up but Rotberg keeps it at a distance. Gyver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rotberg paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gyver throws a lazy right hand but Rotberg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rotberg swings widly with a right hand
and Gyver counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rotberg's knee momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gyver throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Gyver lands a jab to Rotberg's midsection. Rotberg blocks a head kick by Gyver.
Gyver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rotberg paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gyver tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rotberg was well out of range. Poor timing from Gyver. Gyver throws a body kick that misses. Mac Gyver is winning the standup battle so far. Some wild striking there from Rotberg.
No luck for Rotberg with that takedown attempt. Gyver moves into the clinch. Gyver throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rotberg blocks it with crossed arms. Gyver tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Gyver is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rotberg is keeping busy. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rotberg is trying to force a seperation but Gyver has the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gyver lands a knee to the body.
Gyver keeps control of Rotberg as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gyver is trying to maintain a safe position but Rotberg gets an underhook and turns Gyver into the cage. Gyver misses with a knee strike.

Gyver throws a looping overhand right but Rotberg ducks down to avoid it. Rotberg scores with a jab to the jaw. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rotberg is defended easily by Gyver. Gyver scores with a jab to the body. Gyver tries to clinch up. Rotberg circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gyver throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rotberg. A head kick misses from Gyver. The fight moves into the clinch position. Gyver looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gyver swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Gyver is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gyver tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rotberg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rotberg bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Gyver scores with a head kick.
Gyver clinches up against the cage. Rotberg blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gyver is looking to control Rotberg's arms but Rotberg gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gyver has his back to the cage. Rotberg is trying to break the clinch but Gyver has him pressed against the cage. Gyver using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rotberg has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Rotberg connects with a single shot there. Gyver wants to clinch but Rotberg slips to the side and Rotberg counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Mac Gyver has been cut. Rotberg takes one to the chin there. Rotberg looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rotberg tries to bum rush Gyver with a series of wild strikes but Gyver uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rotberg avoids the head kick by Gyver.
Nice defenses there by Gyver. Rotberg looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gyver is trying to stand up here but Rotberg is controlling him well. Gyver trying to control but Rotberg postures up.
Rotberg is looking for a kimura but Gyver is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rotberg to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rotberg is trying to control. Gyver wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rotberg is taking a breather. Gyver says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Rotberg is trying to control. Gyver wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rotberg seems to be working for a kimura but Gyver defends the submission attempt. Rotberg thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gyver's head. Rotberg is looking to advance position but Gyver won't allow it. Rotberg works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rotberg in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Rotberg trying to control but Gyver is having none of it. Rotberg throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gyver because Rotberg loaded up on that one. Rotberg tries to control but Gyver wriggling away. Rotberg controlling from the full mount. Ilan Rotberg has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Gyver that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Rotberg content just to control the position here. Gyver really wants to buck Rotberg off and get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rotberg throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Gyver knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rotberg on the ground. Rotberg controlling his opponent. Gyver takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rotberg scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Gyver is rocked!
Mac Gyver's cut is getting worse. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gyver is squirming around, avoiding Rotberg's attempts to control the action. Mac Gyver is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rotberg jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gyver manages to avoid the submission attempt. Gyver struggling a bit here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rotberg in side control, just content to control the action for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Ilan Rotberg comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Gyver has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Mac Gyver! A determined Mac Gyver didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
