The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie blocks a jab.
Nice takedown defense from Cahill. No joy for Gracie on that attempt.
Cahill tries to land a front kick but Gracie steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Cahill throws a head kick that misses.
Gracie tries to clinch up but Cahill circles away and keeps his distance.
Cahill bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cahill scores with a nice strike.
Gracie tries to clinch but Cahill moves out of range.
Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cahill slips under a jab from Gracie.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Cahill tries to score with a low kick but Gracie moves his leg out of the way.
Gracie drives through and clinches with Cahill against the cage.
Cahill trying to stall but Gracie improves his position.
Gracie can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie jumps guard.
Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet.
Gracie is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Cahill frees his head nicely. Oh but Gracie has switched to an armbar! Cahill is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
