Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hutch Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr E (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hutch Gibson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mr E! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gibson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before E can pounce on him.
Gibson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Gibson checks the leg kick. E ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gibson moves away. Gibson slips under a jab from E. E lands a leg kick that knocks Gibson off balance momentarily. A big right from E misses. E throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. E tries to land a front kick but Gibson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Hutch Gibson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gibson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Gibson lands a nice looking body shot.
An inside leg kick lands from E. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. E connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. E uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gibson. E checks the leg kick nicely there.
E attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. A lazy left from Gibson finds it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gibson takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Gibson blocks a leg kick. E throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. E misses with a body punch
and Gibson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Gibson tries to work over E's front leg with a kick but E checks it. Gibson swings for the body but E moves out of range.
Gibson misses the shot to the body. Gibson moves out of range of the strikes. E ducks under a wild hook from Gibson. E throws a wild body kick that Gibson sees coming a mile off. Gibson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Gibson sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. E keeping moving, preventing Gibson from controlling successfully. E manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gibson manages to get himself to full guard.
E would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. E wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Gibson's closed guard. He's half up but Gibson has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Gibson pivots and extends the arm, E falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Gibson! Well done that man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hutch Gibson! Hutch Gibson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Rōnin logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
