Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Champion Delight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giant Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong has chosen GIANT KONG as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Champion Delight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giant Kong!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delight looks to land a combination but Kong avoids it well.
Kong takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Delight misses with a double jab.
Delight clinches.
Kong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kong cracks the inside of Delight's front leg.
Kong tries to keep at a distance but Delight has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kong, as that shot connected.
A punch lands to the side of Delight 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kong clinches with his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kong.
Delight misses with an elbow over the top.
Delight is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Kong goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kong lands a left hand.
A head punch on the inside from Delight fails to land.
Delight throws a head punch that misses.
Delight trying to control the position but instead, Kong has worked for underhooks and has pushed Delight into the cage.
Delight can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kong blocking some punches.
Delight takes a shot to the head.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Delight just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kong's brow.
Kong lands a nice uppercut.
Delight fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kong breaks from the clinch.
Kong wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Delight pushes Kong up against the cage in a clinch.
Kong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kong lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Delight misses with a short punch on the inside.
Delight is looking to control Kong's arms but Kong gets an underhook and turns him. Now Delight has his back to the cage.
Kong lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Delight or not.
Delight is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kong works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kong lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Delight backwards.
A short body shot lands from Kong as the two fighters clinch.
Kong lands a hook to the side of the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kong.
A short uppercut from Kong.
Kong is leaning against Delight and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kong lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Kong pushes Delight back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
A right hand to the body from Kong.
A nice right hand lands inside from Kong.
Kong has clasped his hands together around Delight's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Kong lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Delight knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kong on the ground.
Kong is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Delight is trying to escape and Kong transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Delight is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kong! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Giant Kong!
