Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lon Sihanouk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Krook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sihanouk comes into the arena with Traditional Thai Fighting Music blaring out of the sound system. Krook is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Courage. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sihanouk throws a sloppy head kick and Krook moves out of range easily.

Kalle Krook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice takedown defense from Sihanouk . No joy for Krook on that attempt.

Sihanouk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Krook paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Krook throws out a loose jab but Sihanouk uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sihanouk scores with the left hand. Krook knows he should have avoided that one.
The crowd cheers as Krook lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sihanouk doesn't seem phased though.
Sihanouk fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Krook.
Krook pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A slow jab from Krook misses its intended target.
Krook motions for Sihanouk to come forward. Krook throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Krook fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Krook tries to move into range but Sihanouk moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sihanouk throws a head kick but Krook moves out of range.
Krook scores with a jab. Sihanouk acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sihanouk takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Krook blocks a low kick nicely.
Sihanouk throws a solid leg kick but Krook takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sihanouk .
Krook misses with a looping left.

Sihanouk ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sihanouk throws a hook to the side of Krook's head but Krook sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Krook lands a body shot.
Krook connects with a crisp jab.
Good shot there by Krook.
Krook fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sihanouk has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Krook throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sihanouk sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sihanouk misses the jab.

Krook is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sihanouk 's half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Krook thows a huge punch but Sihanouk dodges it nicely.
Sihanouk is breathing heavily.
Krook moves nicely into side control.
Check out the look on Krook's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Krook cracks Sihanouk with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Krook immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Sihanouk is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Krook!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kalle Krook!
A relieved looking Kalle Krook thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
