Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Cockburn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scotty McBiggy!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cockburn shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Cockburn seems to be looking for submissions.
Cockburn stops McBiggy from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McBiggy is defending against the submission attempts here by Cockburn.

Cockburn seems to be looking for submissions.

Cockburn is working for a submission of some sort.
McBiggy won't allow Cockburn to pass to mount.

Cockburn is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McBiggy has managed to free his arm - good work.

Cockburn is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

McBiggy kicks Cockburn off and gets back to his feet.
Cockburn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cockburn takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nice uppercut lands for McBiggy. That snapped Cockburn's head back.
Scotty McBiggy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cockburn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McBiggy is fending him off so far but Cockburn persists. Nope, McBiggy circles away and we're back to standing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McBiggy stuffs the takedown attempt from Cockburn. Cockburn gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Cockburn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cockburn is breathing heavily.
McBiggy paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
McBiggy is looking to slow Cockburn down with leg kicks.
McBiggy jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McBiggy throws a combination. Cockburn tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McBiggy's corner calls for a 1-2. McBiggy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
McBiggy scores with a punch to the head.


Cockburn is rocked!
Cockburn shoots and misses
and McBiggy scores with a counter punch that sends Cockburn to the canvas! McBiggy smells blood - he's punishing Cockburn with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Cockburn has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scotty McBiggy!
