Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dew Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garcia Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rain has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Garcia Vega! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Rain or perhaps it was just good defense by Vega which made him look bad. Rain is breathing heavily. Vega leaves Rain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Vega bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Vega lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rain at a distance.
A cross from Vega lands. Vega scores with a sloppy right hand. Rain should have avoided that one. Garcia Vega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vega jabs Rain right on the nose. Rain blinks but takes it well. Vega throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Rain might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Rain takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Decent striking displayed by Vega there. Vega throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. And that's the end of the fight! Garcia Vega comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Vega has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
