Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Boiko!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pugacheva throws a series of punches but Boiko moves out of range.
Pugacheva tries to clinch up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pugacheva is defended easily by Boiko.
Pugacheva doesn't manage to clinch there - Boiko circles away.
Pugacheva wants to clinch.
Pugacheva throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boiko misses with a hook. Pugacheva ducked under it nicely.
Pugacheva tried to score with a low kick but Boiko checks it.
Pugacheva scores with the left hand. Boiko knows he should have avoided that one.

Pugacheva wants to slow Boiko down by chopping away at his legs.

Boiko misses with a hook.

Pugacheva drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pugacheva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Boiko utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Pugacheva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Boiko working for a triangle but Pugacheva defends it easily.
Pugacheva decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Boiko slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Pugacheva drops Boiko with a left right combo! Pugacheva follows him down to the ground into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pugacheva stands up.
Boiko throws a shot from downtown. Pugacheva moves away and avoids it.
Pugacheva walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Boiko drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Pugacheva swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Boiko's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alla Pugacheva!
