Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andy Kaufman Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanrosch Timoshenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kanrosch Timoshenko! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaufman Jr misses with a takedown attempt and Timoshenko counters with a nice uppercut. Kaufman Jr fails with the takedown and Timoshenko counters with a straight right hand. Timoshenko rushes Kaufman Jr and presses him up against the cage. Timoshenko leaning his opponent against the cage. Kaufman Jr is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Timoshenko to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Kaufman Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kaufman Jr has clasped his hands together around Timoshenko's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Timoshenko struggling a bit here. Timoshenko regains half guard. Timoshenko is looking to stand up but Kaufman Jr isn't so interested in that idea. Kaufman Jr working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Timoshenko's head. Kaufman Jr looking to pass the guard. Kaufman Jr wants to control from the top but Timoshenko keeps moving. Timoshenko seems keen to control Kaufman Jr's posture. Kaufman Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Timoshenko wants to stand but Kaufman Jr is controlling the position.

Kaufman Jr is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Timoshenko sees it coming and defends easily. Timoshenko is trying to control but can't.

Kaufman Jr thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Timoshenko's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kaufman Jr seems to be working for a kimura but Timoshenko defends the submission attempt. Timoshenko is trying is best to control the position here.

Kaufman Jr is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kaufman Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Timoshenko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Timoshenko controlling the position. Timoshenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kaufman Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kaufman Jr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Timoshenko looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kaufman Jr drops back looking for a leg! Timoshenko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Timoshenko manages to kick Kaufman Jr off! Kaufman Jr jumps back into Timoshenko's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Timoshenko wants to sweep but no luck. Timoshenko bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kaufman Jr's guard. Kaufman Jr looking for subs off his back but Timoshenko has passed one foot through into half guard.
It looks like Timoshenko is going to stand back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kaufman Jr moves into full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Andy Kaufman Jr will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Timoshenko thows a body shot but no joy. Timoshenko throws a jab but it's blocked by Kaufman Jr. Timoshenko throws a head kick that misses. Timoshenko thows a body shot but no joy. Timoshenko just misses with a punch to the body.
Kaufman Jr with a poor takedown and Timoshenko counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kaufman Jr thinking. Kaufman Jr doesn't succeed with the takedown and Timoshenko counters with a nice uppercut. Timoshenko fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kaufman Jr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Kaufman Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kaufman Jr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Timoshenko throws a quick inside leg kick. Kaufman Jr shoots in and drives through. Timoshenko sprawls well. A chopping leg kick lands by Timoshenko. A shot to the liver by Timoshenko. Beautiful body shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kaufman Jr with a lazy takedown attempt and Timoshenko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Timoshenko scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Kanrosch Timoshenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Timoshenko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kaufman Jr manages to avoid it. Timoshenko throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kaufman Jr counters with a stiff right hand. Timoshenko leaves Kaufman Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Timoshenko fails to land with a series of punches.
Timoshenko tries to clinch but Kaufman Jr is having none of it. Timoshenko works Kaufman Jr's body with a nice hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kaufman Jr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Timoshenko's waist but Timoshenko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kaufman Jr off to one side. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kaufman Jr.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaufman Jr has his takedown stuffed and Kaufman Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kanrosch Timoshenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kaufman Jr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Timoshenko throws out the jab. Timoshenko throws a leg kick and Kaufman Jr counters with a lovely shot to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kaufman Jr. Kaufman Jr fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Timoshenko takes the fight into the clinch.

Timoshenko lands an uppercut. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Timoshenko. Timoshenko makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Timoshenko tries a knee to the head but Kaufman Jr blocks it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Timoshenko creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kaufman Jr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Timoshenko just stands there and leans against the cage. Kaufman Jr jumps guard but Timoshenko turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kanrosch Timoshenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Kaufman Jr fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Timoshenko scores with a jab. Kaufman Jr acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Kaufman Jr fails with the takedown and Timoshenko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kaufman Jr gets cracked there but stands up to it.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Timoshenko throws a low kick, looking for Kaufman Jr's leg but Kaufman Jr calmly moves out of range. Timoshenko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Timoshenko wants it to stay on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Timoshenko clinches up with Kaufman Jr and pushes him back against the cage. Still in the clinch, Timoshenko scores with a nice short uppercut. Kaufman Jr manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kaufman Jr is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Timoshenko moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Kaufman Jr. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Timoshenko decides to stand back up. Timoshenko steps back and let's Kaufman Jr get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Kanrosch Timoshenko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Timoshenko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Kanrosch Timoshenko! After the fight, Kanrosch Timoshenko was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
