Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Janos Lieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Bros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lieu comes to the cage accompanied by "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mario Bros was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Janos Lieu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mario Bros!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bros throws out a powerful jab.
Bros misses with a double jab.
Bros cracks Lieu with a good jab.
Bros throws a sloppy head kick and Lieu moves out of range easily.
Bros misses with a double jab
enabling Lieu to counter with a crisp jab.
Bros keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lieu circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lieu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Bros misses with a combination
and Lieu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bros throws a right and a left that Lieu avoids nicely.
Lieu connects with a body shot that sends Bros's belly button to the back.
Bros swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bros ducks under a wild hook from Lieu.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bros changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lieu tries to avoid it but Bros manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lieu to the ground. Lieu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lieu lands with a hook. Bros tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nice shot by Lieu.
Bros is rocked!
Janos Lieu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bros misses with an uppercut. Lieu saw that one coming.
Bros drops his hands momentarily and Lieu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bros is still on wobbly legs! Can Lieu finish him?
A big left from Lieu misses.
Mario Bros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lieu drops Bros with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bros looks back up at him and smiles so Lieu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bros on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bros gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Lieu gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Bros is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Janos Lieu!
