Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dane Hoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nintendo Takada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, -. Takada has chosen Super Mario Bros Theme Soundtrack as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nintendo Takada enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dane Hoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nintendo Takada!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoy swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Takada stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Takada wants it to stay on the feet.
Takada fakes the leg kick and cracks Hoy in the body.
Takada works Hoy's body with a nice hook.
Hoy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Takada can pounce on him.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Takada, right into the meat.
Takada throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Takada misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Takada changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hoy tries to avoid it but Takada manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hoy to the ground. Hoy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Takada looks for the body kick but Hoy saw that one coming.
Hoy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hoy just misses with a punch to the body.
Takada lands a nice looking body shot.
Hoy throws a low kick, looking for Takada's leg but Takada calmly moves out of range.

Hoy tries to work over Takada's front leg with a kick but Takada checks it.

Takada gets a takedown into half guard.
Takada lands with a punch from half guard.

Takada looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Takada's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Takada's back!

Hoy uses his free foot to push down on Takada's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Takada.

Hoy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Takada tries to hold on but Hoy postures up.
Hoy is trying to control here but Takada has managed to regain half guard.

Takada has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hoy's face.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Takada lands with a nice body kick.
Takada tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hoy swivels and escapes.
Hoy throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Takada counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Takada fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hoy sprawls well initially but Takada persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Hoy actively working from the bottom here.
Takada is keen to just control but Hoy is a slippery customer.
Takada prevents Hoy from improving his position.
Hoy pushes Takada off looking to stand but Takada dives back in and keeps control.
Takada has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hoy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Takada is working away from the top position though.
Hoy won't allow Takada to pass to mount.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Takada connects with a nice short shot to Hoy's temple.

Takada is breathing heavily.

Hoy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nintendo Takada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters circling - Hoy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Takada wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hoy throws a front kick aimed at Takada's knee but Takada avoids it well.
Horrible takedown by Takada or perhaps it was just good defense by Hoy which made him look bad.
Takada uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hoy.
Hoy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hoy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Takada fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hoy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Takada keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Hoy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Takada leaves Hoy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hoy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Takada checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Nintendo Takada is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Hoy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dane Hoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nintendo Takada.
Hoy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Nintendo Takada comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Takada has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
