Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinya Alkofer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Diaz throws a series of punches but Alkofer moves out of range. Alkofer throws a head kick that misses. No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alkofer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Some wild striking there from Diaz.
Diaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A combination from Diaz does no damage. No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diaz takes a swing at Alkofer's ribcage but misses. Diaz misses with a double jab.
Diaz lands a jab to Alkofer's midsection. Alkofer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Diaz tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Alkofer easily slips into full mount! Alkofer lands a big shot there that rocks Diaz but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Alkofer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alkofer landing strikes, looking to finish! Alkofer content just to control the position here. Alkofer stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Diaz misses the shot to the body. Alkofer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Alkofer is in Diaz's guard. Alkofer showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Diaz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Alkofer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Diaz.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Alkofer content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Diaz tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Alkofer easily slips into full mount! Alkofer lands with some strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Alkofer controlling from mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Alkofer lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is looking to get to half guard. Alkofer controlling the position easily from mount. Diaz working to try and regain half guard.
Diaz is bucking up trying to escape but Alkofer cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Alkofer content just to control the position here. Alkofer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alkofer scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Alkofer controlling from mount. Alkofer prevents Diaz from getting the reversal. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Alkofer gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Diaz connects with a body shot that sends Alkofer's belly button to the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shinya Alkofer dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Alkofer closes the distance and clinches. Alkofer lands a takedown into guard.
Alkofer has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Diaz to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Alkofer is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Diaz pulls down on the head and he's put Alkofer to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nick Diaz! Nick Diaz decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
