Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mordecai Wollsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mordecai Wollsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Super Slayer!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Wollsey.
Slayer throws a hook to the side of Wollsey's head but Wollsey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Slayer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wollsey.
Slayer misses with a left hand
and Wollsey counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wollsey ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wollsey moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Slayer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mordecai Wollsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wollsey misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wollsey misses with a body kick.
Wollsey takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Slayer throws a hook but Wollsey avoids it easily.
Slayer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wollsey moves away.
Wollsey lands with a straight right. Slayer didn't see that one coming.
Wollsey misses with a takedown attempt - Slayer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Wollsey closes the distance and clinches.

Wollsey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Slayer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wollsey.

Slayer staying out of range there.
Wollsey throws a push kick but Slayer slaps the foot to one side.
Slayer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wollsey.
Slayer throws out a loose jab but Wollsey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Slayer throws a body punch but Wollsey moves out of range.
Slayer throws a right and a left that both miss.
Slayer misses with a hook
and Wollsey counters with a stiff right hand.


Slayer is rocked!
Slayer throws a hook to the side of Wollsey's head but Wollsey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Slayer is still on wobbly legs! Can Wollsey finish him?

Wollsey drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wollsey throws a big elbow that misses.
Slayer being controlled here, momentarily.
Slayer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wollsey makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wollsey.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wollsey looking to hit a scissor sweep but Slayer is one step ahead there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wollsey is on top in guard.
Wollsey throws a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Wollsey is stalling in the full guard.
Slayer seems to have recovered his senses.
Slayer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wollsey throws an elbow that misses. Slayer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wollsey's guard. Nice move by Slayer!
Slayer is fighting to break Wollsey's control of his arms but Wollsey is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Slayer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wollsey looking for a sweep. Not yet Wollsey, not yet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wollsey pulls Slayer in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Slayer wants to stand but Wollsey is controlling his posture from full guard.
Wollsey throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Slayer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wollsey is proving hard to escape from.
Wollsey looking to hit a scissor sweep but Slayer is one step ahead there.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wollsey is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wollsey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slayer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wollsey is pushing down on Slayer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Slayer is fighting to maintain full guard but Wollsey has managed to sneak the leg through.
Wollsey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slayer keeps working.
Slayer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Slayer is staying active underneath Wollsey, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mordecai Wollsey dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Slayer misses with a series of wild punches.
Wollsey feints and then cracks Slayer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Slayer down.
Slayer thows a body shot but no joy.
Slayer throws a poor cross that misses

and Wollsey holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Slayer blocks an uppercut.
Wollsey lands a left hand that snaps the head of Slayer backwards.

Wollsey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wollsey swings for the body but Slayer moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wollsey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A big right from Slayer misses.
Wollsey takes one to the chin there.
Good exchange - Wollsey coming out on top.
Slayer throws a body punch but Wollsey moves out of range.
Wollsey fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wollsey throws a body punch but Slayer moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wollsey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slayer throws out the jab.
Wollsey is looking to slow Slayer down with leg kicks.
Wollsey tests Slayer's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wollsey avoids the body shot from Slayer.
Wollsey feints and then cracks Slayer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Slayer down.
Wollsey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Slayer.
Slayer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Super Slayer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Slayer is breathing heavily.
Slayer gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Slayer tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Wollsey is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Slayer buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Slayer!! Slayer is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Wollsey throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mordecai Wollsey!
Mordecai Wollsey spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
