Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel McCraig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kid Coke!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coke throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Coke throws a series of punches but McCraig moves out of range.
Coke will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McCraig pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCraig tries to clinch but fails miserably

so Coke counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Coke pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McCraig is keeping the position for now.
Coke won't allow McCraig to sweep him here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McCraig is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

McCraig escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Coke must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

McCraig has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Coke wants to control from the top but McCraig keeps moving.
McCraig is pulling down on Coke's head. It's preventing any offense from Coke, at least for the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coke accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Coke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Coke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Coke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCraig swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Coke throws a big right hand that misses.
Coke stays in close to McCraig's body and controls the position.

McCraig escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McCraig trying to keep a closed guard but Coke is proving a slippery customer.
Coke loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
McCraig is trying to control the position but Coke postures up.
McCraig is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

McCraig manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
McCraig looking to control but Coke is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Coke holds on for dear life, controlling McCraig's posture momentarily.
Coke tries to lock up and control but McCraig gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Coke lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McCraig circles away quickly and effectively.
McCraig throws a head kick that Coke semi-blocks.
McCraig lands with a slapping head kick.
McCraig dodges the punch combination from Coke.

McCraig pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Coke throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McCraig.

McCraig tries a head kick but it misses.
Coke connects with a solid leg kick.
McCraig throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McCraig tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kid Coke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
McCraig throws a head kick but Coke moves out of range.
McCraig misses with a head kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Coke rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McCraig moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Coke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coke throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Coke throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McCraig tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Coke is in McCraig's guard.
Coke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCraig swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McCraig escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Coke drops back looking for a leg! McCraig is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McCraig manages to kick Coke off! Coke jumps back into McCraig's guard.

McCraig looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coke is one step ahead there.
Coke is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McCraig controls Coke momentarily but Coke frees himself.
Coke trying to control the position from guard on top but McCraig is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Daniel McCraig will probably get the nod.
That's time! McCraig's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

McCraig gets caught napping as Coke dives in and scores a takedown. McCraig manages to retain guard.

McCraig has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Coke is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for McCraig.
Coke wants to lay and pray for a moment but McCraig keeps working.

Coke looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCraig wants to control but Coke postures up.

Coke wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McCraig, who protects the arm well.
Coke lands an elbow.
McCraig is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Coke's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Kid Coke has got the better of the ground game so far.
McCraig wants to get back to his feet.
McCraig wants to control but Coke is keeping busy and won't allow it.

McCraig makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McCraig.

Kid Coke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Coke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
