Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ernie Els (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cael Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Els might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Disturbed - Stricken. Sanderson has chosen Dope - Debonair as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanderson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Els swivels and escapes.
Sanderson wants to clinch up but Els keeps it at a distance.
Els gets caught flat footed, as Sanderson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sanderson wanted to stand there but Els had control of the position.
Sanderson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Els blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Sanderson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Els up against the cage.

Cael Sanderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ernie Els.
I think Sanderson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Cael Sanderson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hell's Balls Recovery logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
