Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between sa Dsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, sa Dsa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roy Mac! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dsa tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Mac manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A punch combination from Mac misses. Mac fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dsa misses with a hook. Dsa tries to close the distance and clinch but Mac swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dsa feints and as Mac raises his hands in defense, Dsa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dsa stops Mac from standing up. Dsa wants to control from the top but Mac keeps moving. Dsa tries to free his leg and advance position but Mac is retaining full guard.
We're going to have a standup here because sa Dsa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. A head kick from Mac lands but Dsa takes it in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dsa looks to land a body kick but Mac moved away. Dsa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dsa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dsa is looking to take a break and control but Mac is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dsa is trying to ground and pound but Mac uses the momentary lack of control by Dsa to regain half guard. Dsa prevents Mac from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dsa is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Mac manages to get to full guard. Dsa works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mac pushes Dsa off and gets back to his feet. Some wild striking there from Mac.
Mac misses with a few strikes there.
Dsa misses with a body kick. Mac gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mac keeping moving, preventing Dsa from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Dsa in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dsa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dsa stays in close to Mac's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because sa Dsa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Mac lands a jab to the head.
Dsa moves in looking to clinch but Mac pushes him off. Mac tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dsa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mac somewhat. Mac throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mac throws a right hand that Dsa ducks under and follows up with a left that Dsa also avoids with ease. Dsa dives in and scores a takedown into Mac's guard. Mac preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dsa is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dsa trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mac's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mac is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mac enables Dsa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mac manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Mac is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dsa tries to free his leg and advance position but Mac is retaining full guard. Mac is looking to stand up but Dsa isn't so interested in that idea. Dsa controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of sa Dsa. Left hook, right uppercut from Mac. Dsa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mac swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac misses with a head kick.
Mac throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mac jabs Dsa to the body, keeping him at a distance. Dsa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dsa throwing strikes but Mac manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Dsa wants to control but Mac postures up. Dsa is looking to reverse the position. Mac wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dsa keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dsa can't do much from the bottom here. Mac gets to mount! Dsa was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Mac content just to control the position here. Dsa is desperately trying to improve his position but Mac has a good base and remains in mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mac trying to control but Dsa is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that sa Dsa will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Roy Mac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mac lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dsa circles away quickly and effectively. Mac misses with a head kick.
Mac scores with a sloppy right hand. Dsa should have avoided that one. Mac closes the distance and clinches up with Dsa, looking for a takedown. Mac pushes Dsa against the ropes but Dsa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mac with a hook. Dsa takes a kick to the side of the head. Dsa feints and as Mac raises his hands in defense, Dsa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Dsa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dsa controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dsa tries to free his leg and advance position but Mac is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Mac wants to get back to his feet but Dsa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Dsa gets the takedown into side control. Dsa wants to control for a moment but Mac uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Dsa is working for a kimura but Mac is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dsa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mac doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dsa. Mac is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dsa in particular looking to stall. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Roy Mac has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dsa swings around for an armbar but Mac sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dsa's guard. Mac wants to pass the guard but Dsa is keeping the position. Dsa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mac is controlling him. sa Dsa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mac trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dsa's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! sa Dsa showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dsa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
