The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lowery closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kucherov did well to prevent Lowery getting side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kucherov is on top in guard.

Kucherov is nestled in close to Lowery, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
