The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sykes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tyson scrambles back to his feet.

Sykes throws a right and a left that Tyson avoids nicely.
Sykes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Tyson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sykes throws a lazy right hand but Tyson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tyson has eaten all the pies!

Sykes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tyson.
Sykes throws a shot from downtown. Tyson moves away and avoids it.
Sykes throws an off balance right hand
and Tyson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Tyson is looking to break free of the clinch but Sykes has double underhooks.
Tyson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Tyson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Tyson counters with a stiff right hand.

Tyson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sykes paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sykes stuns Tyson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sykes lands a big uppercut and Tyson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tyson looks OK. Sykes waves Tyson back to his feet!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
