Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James fails in his attempt to clinch.
James tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maradona swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Maradona counters with a single leg into guard. James didn't expect that.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

James is squirming around, avoiding Maradona's attempts to control the action.
Maradona connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
James looks gassed!
Maradona cracks James with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Maradona loads up with a big shot that hurts James! He's pulled Maradona in close but Maradona has postured up and lands more strikes. Can James survive? More strikes from Maradona and James is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Diego Maradona!
A relieved looking Diego Maradona thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
