Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Federico Lovalente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tsuyoshi Nakayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nakayama's choice of entrance music: The Vapors - Turning Japanese. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovalente looks to land a combination but Nakayama avoids it well.
Lovalente throws a lazy right hand but Nakayama sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lovalente throws a body punch but Nakayama moves out of range.
Nakayama gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nakayama clobbers Lovalente with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nakayama cracks Lovalente with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nakayama scores with a hook to the body. Lovalente takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nakayama misses with a low kick.
Lovalente throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nakayama lands a nice hook to Lovalente's body. Lovalente takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nakayama swings for the body but Lovalente moves out of range.
Lovalente takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lovalente avoids a punch combination nicely.

Lovalente bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lovalente lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Nakayama swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lovalente is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Nakayama.
Lovalente feints and then cracks Nakayama's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nakayama down.
Nakayama jabs Lovalente right on the nose. Lovalente blinks but takes it well.
Nakayama scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lovalente in his tracks.
A slow jab from Lovalente misses its intended target.
Lovalente on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nakayama throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lovalente lands with a kick to the ribs.

A thudding body kick lands there by Lovalente!

Lovalente works the jab nicely.
Nakayama doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nakayama throws a sloppy head kick and Lovalente moves out of range easily.
Nakayama needs to keep his hands up - Lovalente had a free shot at his head there.
Lovalente lands a nice looking body kick.
Nakayama takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lovalente bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Nakayama is rocked!
Nakayama takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Nakayama is still on wobbly legs! Can Lovalente finish him?
Lovalente pounces like a tiger and cracks Nakayama with a vicious hook! Nakayama is down but not out! Lovalente follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Federico Lovalente opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
