Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Sabacajan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Serbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Serbo has chosen white eyes as his entrance music. Don Serbo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Don Serbo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sean Sabacajan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Don Serbo! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Serbo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sabacajan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Sabacajan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Serbo wants to stand but Sabacajan is controlling the position. Sabacajan scoring with some ground and pound. Sabacajan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sabacajan wants to control from the top but Serbo keeps moving. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Sabacajan landing with the ground and pound. Sabacajan is looking to work some ground and pound but Serbo has wrist control. Serbo is looking to stand up but Sabacajan isn't so interested in that idea. Serbo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sabacajan controls the pace.

No damage this time. Sabacajan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Serbo is proving hard to escape from. Sabacajan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Serbo dives on top into guard. Sabacajan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Serbo is one step ahead there. Serbo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sabacajan has an active guard here but Serbo has managed to pass into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Sabacajan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sabacajan throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Sabacajan is looking for a sweep. Serbo avoids the strikes from the bottom by Sabacajan. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sabacajan manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Sabacajan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sabacajan trying to hold on to Serbo's head to control him but Serbo postures up.

Sean Sabacajan dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Sabacajan shoots in looking for a takedown. Serbo tries to sprawl out of it but Sabacajan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Serbo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Serbo stuffs the takedown attempt from Sabacajan. Sabacajan gets slowly back to his feet. Serbo throws out a powerful jab. Serbo closes the distance and pushes Sabacajan back into the ropes. A frustrated look appears on Sabacajan's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sabacajan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sabacajan pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Sabacajan prevents a body shot from Serbo. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Sabacajan is trying to pull guard but Serbo has him pressed against the ropes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Sabacajan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sabacajan can't break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sabacajan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Serbo keeps working. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sabacajan lands a nice short elbow. Sabacajan thows a huge punch but Serbo dodges it nicely.

It looks like Sean Sabacajan has been cut. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sabacajan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Serbo is defending well. Serbo lands a good knee to the midsection. Sabacajan won't want to take too many of those. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Serbo tries to land knees in the clinch but Sabacajan avoids the damage to the body. Serbo with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Serbo with a knee to the head.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Sabacajan throws an elbow but misses. Serbo gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Serbo lands a nice knee to the body. Serbo utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Sabacajan is trying to break free. Serbo gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. That's three minutes gone in the round. Serbo avoids a wild elbow strike from Sabacajan. Serbo throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Sabacajan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sabacajan manages to end up in side control. Sabacajan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Sabacajan working the ground and pound but Serbo is defending the strikes. Sabacajan throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Serbo works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Serbo wants to get back to his feet.

Sabacajan is looking for a kimura but Serbo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sabacajan to get the leverage. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sabacajan lands a nice short elbow. Sabacajan thows a huge punch but Serbo dodges it nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sabacajan seems to be working for a kimura but Serbo defends the submission attempt. This has been an exciting period of action! Serbo pushes Sabacajan off looking to stand but Sabacajan dives back in and keeps control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sean Sabacajan will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sean Sabacajan's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Sabacajan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Serbo is squirming around, avoiding Sabacajan's attempts to control the action. Sabacajan is landing with some decent strikes but Serbo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Serbo is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Sabacajan breaks from Serbo's wrist control and lands an elbow. Serbo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A nice elbow there by Sabacajan.
Serbo is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sabacajan looking to control and managing it successfully. Serbo is still in real trouble! Can Sabacajan finish him? Sabacajan postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Serbo badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sabacajan around the waist but Sabacajan pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sabacajan is the winner by TKO! Sabacajan jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Sabacajan! After winning the bout, Sean Sabacajan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
