The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honnold misses the shot to the body.
Fischer throws a series of strikes that have Honnold backpedaling.
Honnold bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Honnold misses with a looping left.
Fischer takes a swing at Honnold's ribcage but misses.
Fischer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Honnold.
Honnold throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fischer counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Honnold fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fischer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Honnold throws an overhand right that lands on Fischer's shoulder, as Fischer tries to avoid the shot.
Honnold swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Fischer to counter with a crisp jab.
Fischer takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Scott Fischer has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Honnold connects with a body shot that sends Fischer's belly button to the back.
Honnold scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Honnold throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fischer.
Alex Honnold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Look low, kick high! Honnold uses the oldest trick in the book to send Fischer tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Honnold is absolutely delighted - when Fischer wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
