Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Torjus Wiker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Brewster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiker comes to the ring accompanied by DJ D Vs. 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chad Brewster! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brewster circles away from the clinch attempt and Brewster counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wiker's knee momentarily. Wiker fails in his attempt to clinch. Brewster fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brewster throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Wiker counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Wiker holding his opponent close, against the ropes.
Wiker lands a nice uppercut. Wiker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Wiker lands an uppercut. Brewster blocks an uppercut.

Wiker lands a hook that snaps the head of Brewster backwards. Wiker lands a body punch in the clinch. Brewster has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wiker after a bit of a struggle. Wiker slows down the pace here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wiker throws a head punch that misses. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Wiker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brewster.

Torjus Wiker dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chad Brewster's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Brewster is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wiker is aware though and is defending well. Wiker is stalling in the full guard. Brewster trying to control the position.
Wiker wants to stand but Brewster is controlling his posture from full guard. Brewster lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wiker!
That's one minute gone in the round. Brewster working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Wiker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Brewster wants to control the pace but Wiker is squirming around nicely. Brewster has hold of Wiker's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wiker manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Brewster is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wiker can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Brewster swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wiker is now in Brewster's guard. A big mistake from Brewster there, giving up the dominant position! Wiker throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wiker trying to control the position from guard on top but Brewster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brewster looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wiker wants to control from the top but Brewster keeps moving. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brewster has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wiker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Brewster bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wiker's guard. Wiker pulls Brewster in close to prevent any damage. Wiker lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brewster! Wiker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wiker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brewster is looking to escape. Brewster is desperately trying to improve his position but Wiker has a good base and remains in mount. Brewster sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Brewster is pressing down on Wiker's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wiker looking to pass the guard. Wiker trying to control but Brewster is working from the bottom. Wiker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brewster looking to control.

The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

This has been an exciting period of action! Wiker swings wildly with an uppercut but Brewster uses good head movement to avoid it. A right hook to the body lands for Wiker.

Wiker lands a body shot. Wiker working some nice short punches in the clinch. Wiker gets through Brewster's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Brewster is trying to drag Wiker to the mat but Wiker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wiker takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that's the end of the fight! Torjus Wiker showed his dominance in that final round. I think Wiker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Torjus Wiker! In his post fight interview, Torjus Wiker started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
