Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perciwall tries to clinch up but Lumpus circles away and keeps his distance.
Johan Perciwall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lumpus gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Perciwall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lumpus shoots for a takedown but Perciwall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Perciwall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lumpus steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Perciwall. That one must have hurt.

Perciwall instigates a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Lumpus's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Lumpus working hard to break the clinch.
Perciwall crunches a lovely knee into Lumpus's ribcage.
Perciwall creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Lumpus's defenses.

It looks like Mike Lumpus has been cut.
Perciwall misses with a body punch.
Lumpus tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Lumpus. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Perciwall breaks from the clinch.
Lumpus takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Perciwall! Lumpus is out on his feet! Perciwall rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Lumpus is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Lumpus is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
