PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Deniro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saku Katsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deniro comes to the cage accompanied by The rage. Katsumoto has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The key to victory for Steve Deniro has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Deniro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Saku Katsumoto!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Katsumoto is trying to drag Deniro to the mat but Deniro just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Deniro gets caught napping as Katsumoto dives in and scores a takedown. Deniro manages to retain guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Katsumoto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Deniro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
