Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Pendragon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Pendragon!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendragon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pendragon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pendragon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steel moves away.
Steel closes the distance and clinches.
Steel pushes off an throws an elbow but Pendragon leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A knee to the head by Steel.
It looks like Mike Pendragon has been cut.
Steel with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Steel looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Pendragon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Steel fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Steel throws a head kick that Pendragon semi-blocks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
An inside leg kick lands from Steel.
Pendragon feints and as Steel raises his hands in defense, Pendragon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pendragon pushing down on Steel's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Pendragon moves nicely into side control.
Pendragon throws a strike aimed at the side of Steel's head but Steel avoids it well.
Steel is looking for a sweep.
Pendragon wants to control but Steel is keeping him busy.
Pendragon misses with the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pendragon tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Check out the look on Pendragon's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pendragon has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Steel is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pendragon yanks on the arm and Steel is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pendragon.
