Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Pendragon!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendragon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Coleman.
Nice jab there from Coleman.
Coleman shoots for a double leg takedown but Pendragon sprawls well. He's pushed Coleman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Coleman fails to land the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Coleman.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pendragon moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Coleman has worked his arm free - good work by Coleman!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pendragon is on top in guard.

Coleman wants to sweep here but Pendragon controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pendragon wants to pass the guard but Coleman is keeping the position.
Pendragon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Coleman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Coleman uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Pendragon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Coleman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pendragon moves out of range as Coleman strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Coleman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Coleman leaves Pendragon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Pendragon closes the distance and clinches up with Coleman, looking for a takedown. Pendragon pushes Coleman against the cage but Coleman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mark Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coleman shoots in looking for a takedown. Pendragon tries to sprawl out of it but Coleman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pendragon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pendragon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coleman's waist but Coleman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pendragon off to one side.

Coleman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pendragon pulls his leg out and moves away.

Coleman drives through with a takedown into Pendragon's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Pendragon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mike Pendragon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Coleman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Coleman lands a big shot there that rocks Pendragon but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Mike Pendragon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mike Pendragon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mark Coleman!
An out of breath Mark Coleman thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
