Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthieu Renaud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Renaud is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bite Marks/ Screeching Weasel. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renaud stuns Sapp with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sapp lands with a good body shot.
Renaud swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A left and a right from Renaud both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Bob Sapp has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sapp throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sapp looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Renaud pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sapp connects with a jab.
Renaud takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Renaud misses with a two punch combination.
Renaud scores with a kick to the body.
Sapp is breathing heavily.
Sapp closes the distance and clinches up with Renaud, looking for a takedown. Sapp pushes Renaud against the cage but Renaud circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Renaud fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Renaud lands a big head kick that sends Sapp tumbling to the mat! Renaud takes a step backwards and waves Sapp back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sapp is rocked!
Renaud dances in with a quick combination. Sapp is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Renaud snaps Sapp's head back. Sapp stumbles backwards against the cage. Renaud steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Sapp's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Sapp just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Matthieu Renaud!
