Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sawk Kaimuay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neisan Kaen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sawk Kaimuay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Neisan Kaen!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaen with a poor takedown
and Kaimuay cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kaen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kaimuay counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kaen tries for a takedown but Kaimuay circles away easily
enabling Kaimuay to counter with a crisp jab.
Sawk Kaimuay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neisan Kaen.

and Kaimuay counters with a head kick. That will keep Kaen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Neisan Kaen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kaimuay counters with a flying knee. Nice.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kaen gets a takedown into half guard.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kaimuay pushes Kaen off looking to stand but Kaen dives back in and keeps control.
Kaimuay knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kaen on the ground.

Kaen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kaimuay is trying to get back to full guard.
Kaimuay moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kaen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kaimuay dives on top into guard.
Kaimuay has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kaen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kaimuay defends it easily.
Kaimuay wants to get up but he can't break Kaen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kaimuay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kaen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kaimuay has managed to get both his arms back between Kaen's legs - danger averted.

Kaen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kaimuay is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kaen.

Kaimuay is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kaen will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Kaimuay counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

A head kick from Kaimuay lands but Kaen takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kaimuay lands with a kick to the temple. Kaen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kaimuay tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sawk Kaimuay dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Kaimuay lands a nice looking body shot.
Kaen blocks the body kick.
Kaen misses with a takedown
and Kaimuay counters with a low kick, right behind Kaen 's knee.

and Kaimuay counters with a one-two to the body.
Kaen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kaimuay counters with a nice uppercut.
Sawk Kaimuay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neisan Kaen.
Kaen is breathing heavily.

Kaimuay lands a big head kick that sends Kaen tumbling to the mat! Kaimuay takes a step backwards and waves Kaen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kaimuay lands with a cross.
Kaen is still on wobbly legs! Can Kaimuay finish him?
Kaimuay throws a head kick but Kaen moves out of range.
Kaen seems to have recovered his senses.

and Kaimuay counters with a head kick that drops Kaen to the mat! Kaen scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kaen takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kaimuay lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kaimuay circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kaen drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kaimuay follows Kaen to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sawk Kaimuay!
After winning the bout, Sawk Kaimuay thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
