Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Uhuru! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Tan! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A right-left combo lands from Uhuru. Tan moves into the clinch. Uhuru prevents Tan from breaking the clinch. Uhuru breaks from the clinch.
Uhuru throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tan. Uhuru could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Uhuru has Tan up against the cage in a clinch.
Uhuru breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Uhuru tries to bum rush Tan with a series of wild strikes but Tan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tan lands a big head kick that sends Uhuru to the canvas! Tan follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
