Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justus Sheehan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sheehan has chosen All Day n Night as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Justus Sheehan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kendall Clarke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justus Sheehan! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clarke lands with a straight right. Sheehan didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Justus Sheehan has been cut. Clarke clinches up against the cage. Clarke is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sheehan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Clarke misses with a punch to the body.
Clarke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Clarke uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sheehan. Clarke throws a nice looking combination but Sheehan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sheehan avoids the head kick by Clarke.
Clarke is looking to clinch but Sheehan is avoiding it.
Sheehan looks to throw the jab but Clarke is out of range. Sheehan misses with a wild body shot. Sheehan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clarke shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sheehan defends it nicely. Clarke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sheehan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sheehan throws a series of punches but Clarke moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sheehan jabs Clarke to the body, keeping him at a distance. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Clarke is defended easily by Sheehan. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kendall Clarke. That's going to take a lot out of him. Clarke misses with a hook to the body
and Sheehan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Sheehan stuffs the takedown. Horrible takedown by Sheehan or perhaps it was just good defense by Clarke which made him look bad. Clarke gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Clarke really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sheehan tries to bum rush Clarke with a series of wild strikes but Clarke uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Clarke cracks Sheehan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Clarke takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Clarke throws a lazy uppercut
and Clarke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Clarke fails with an attempt to clinch.
Clarke tries to clinch but Sheehan moves out of range. Clarke misses with a right hand and Sheehan counters with a three punch combo that has Clarke backing up. Clarke nods at Sheehan to acknowledge the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sheehan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clarke. Clarke shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sheehan as he avoids it easily. Clarke lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A punch combination from Sheehan misses. Clarke misses with a two punch combination.
Clarke throws a head kick but Sheehan moves out of range.
Left hook, right uppercut from Sheehan. Clarke lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Clarke shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sheehan defends it nicely. Clarke has taken the fight to the clinch.
Clarke's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Clarke throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clarke misses with a double jab
and Sheehan counters with a left and a right that stings Clarke. Clarke thows a leg kick but Sheehan checks it and Sheehan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sheehan. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Clarke escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sheehan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sheehan preventing the sweep. Sheehan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Clarke is keeping the position for now. Clarke looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sheehan trying to control the position from guard on top but Clarke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clarke will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Clarke is on top in guard.
Sheehan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clarke trying to control the position from guard on top but Sheehan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clarke passes easily into side control. Nice work. Sheehan is trying to improve his position. Clarke goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sheehan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Clarke but great work by Sheehan. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sheehan cracks Clarke with a big elbow. Clarke avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sheehan. Sheehan working the ground and pound from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kendall Clarke will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Justus Sheehan's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Clarke tries to close the distance and clinch but Sheehan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Clarke throws a body punch but Sheehan moves out of range. Sheehan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Sheehan lands a jab-cross combination. Sheehan slips a jab and a cross from Clarke.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sheehan dips to his left and cracks Clarke with an uppercut! Clarke drives through with a takedown into guard. Clarke is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sheehan looking to control.
Clarke stands up over Sheehan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sheehan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sheehan working for a submission but Clarke is keeping him at bay. Sheehan is breathing heavily. Clarke is looking to improve his position but Sheehan isn't that keen on the idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clarke regains half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sheehan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Clarke trying to hold on to Sheehan's head to control him but Sheehan postures up.
Sheehan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Clarke wants to improve his position but Sheehan is controlling well.

Sheehan is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Clarke as he works his way to full guard.
Sheehan wants to pass the guard but Clarke is keeping the position. Clarke wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Clarke is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sheehan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kendall Clarke will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Justus Sheehan's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Sheehan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Clarke connects with a couple of short punches. Clarke is stalling in the full guard. Clarke is keen to just control but Sheehan is a slippery customer. Sheehan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Clarke scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kendall Clarke overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Clarke slips a nice elbow through Sheehan's hands, connecting with Sheehan's forehead. Clarke throwing shots but Sheehan is blocking nicely. Sheehan tries to get to full guard but Clarke has control of the leg. Clarke is trying to control the action in half guard but Sheehan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Kendall Clarke showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clarke, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
