Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Butch Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wandy Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Sunshine of Your Love. Walker has chosen Fight Night as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Butch Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wandy Walker! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams has a takedown stuffed. A slow jab from Walker misses its intended target. Walker waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Williams. Williams wants to clinch. Williams uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Walker has time to react. A head kick misses from Williams. Williams wants to clinch up but Walker keeps it at a distance. Walker thows a left - swing and a miss! Walker throws a hook to the side of Williams's head but Williams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Williams wants to land a leg kick but Walker is out of range. Walker throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Walker checks the leg kick nicely there.
Walker keeps the fight on the outside. A nice leg kick lands there from Williams. Williams scores with a sloppy right hand. Walker should have avoided that one. Williams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Williams dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Walker. That did some damage! Walker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Williams. Walker throws a hook to the side of Williams's head but Williams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Williams throws a jab when Walker was well out of range. Walker slips a jab from Williams.

Walker slips a straight right by Williams. Walker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Williams. Walker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Walker finishes the takedown easily into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Williams is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Walker defends well. Williams looking to control.
Williams utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Walker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Williams lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Walker! Walker blocking the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker is in a horrible position here. Williams smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Walker really wants to buck Williams off and get back to his feet. Williams misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Walker defends it easily. Williams is looking for a triangle but Walker pushes his legs off easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walker missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Walker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Walker with a nice head shot there. Walker throws an elbow that misses. Williams uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Walker's guard. Nice move by Williams! Williams throwing strikes from guard but Walker blocks nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Williams keeps Walker at a distance using the push kick. Williams scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Williams lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Butch Williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Williams misses with a body shot.
Williams connects with a solid leg kick. Walker clinches with his opponent.
Walker on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Williams using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Walker has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. A short right from Williams. Williams keeps control of Walker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Walker wants to break the clinch but can't.
Walker looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Walker is trying to push Williams away but Williams has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Walker is looking to break free of the clinch but Williams has double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Walker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Williams fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Walker has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Williams uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Walker. Walker scores with a nice strike. Williams throws a hook but Walker blocks it. Williams lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Walker scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Williams doesn't seem bothered though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williams lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williams looks to land a combination but Walker avoids it well. Williams takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Williams lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Walker has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Walker and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Williams connects with a leg kick. Walker looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Williams tries to clinch but Walker moves out of range. Walker throws a shot from downtown. Williams moves away and avoids it. Walker with a jab.
Williams is rocked! Walker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Walker waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Williams. Williams gets a takedown into half guard. Williams is trying to control. Walker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Walker looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams throwing shots but Walker is blocking nicely. Butch Williams overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Williams throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Williams seems to have got his legs back now. Williams prevents Walker from standing back up.

Williams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Walker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Williams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Walker keeping full guard, as Williams tries to pass. Walker is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Walker wants to break the clinch but can't.
Walker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Butch Williams will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Walker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Williams tries to clinch there but Walker circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Williams throws a combination. Walker tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Williams lands a jab to Walker's midsection. Williams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Walker to score with a decent uppercut. Walker has closed the distance and engaged Williams in a clinch.
Williams gets through Walker's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Williams keeps control of Walker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Walker wants to break the clinch but can't.
Walker is trying to push Williams away but Williams has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Walker has had enough of the clinch but Williams keeps him there for the moment. Williams takes a knee to the side of the body. Walker lands a good knee to the midsection. Williams won't want to take too many of those. Walker looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Walker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Williams gets in close and instigates a clinch. Walker is trying to break the clinch but Williams is controlling him. Walker is trying to push Williams away but Williams has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Walker can't break the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Walker as Williams tries to tie him up. Walker putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Williams in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Walker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Williams fails to land the takedown. Walker looks to land a left hand but Williams moved out of range nicely. Williams looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Williams persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing.

Williams misses with an uppercut. Walker saw that one coming. Butch Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Williams misses. Williams throws a shot from downtown. Walker moves away and avoids it. Walker takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Butch Williams is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Walker throws a strike but Williams rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Wandy Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Williams has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
