Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isaiah Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele has chosen Shame on a Nigga as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Max Steele has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaiah Ferguson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Steele! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steele tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Steele tries for a takedown but Ferguson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Steele is looking to clinch. Ferguson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Steele sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Max Steele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ferguson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Steele's waist but Steele gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ferguson off to one side. Ferguson moves into range and clinches up with Steele. Ferguson gets control of Steele's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ferguson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Steele won't allow Ferguson to sweep him here. Ferguson trying to strike off his back.
Ferguson being controlled here, momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ferguson trying to keep a closed guard but Steele is proving a slippery customer.
Steele sitting in guard, not really doing much. Steele gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferguson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Steele sitting in guard here, content to control. Steele must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Steele pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ferguson is keeping the position for now. Steele slips nicely into half guard. Steele with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Steele wants to stand but Ferguson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferguson punching from the bottom.
Ferguson is looking for a sweep. Steele is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Steele working the head and body with strikes. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Steele in particular looking to stall. This has been an exciting period of action! Steele passes the guard and advances to mount! Steele takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ferguson can't escape the position.
Ferguson is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steele tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Max Steele. Steele shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Steele avoids the attempt from Ferguson to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ferguson working to try and regain half guard.
Steele looking to control and managing it successfully. Steele's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Steele dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Steele throws a head kick but Ferguson moves out of range.
Ferguson clinches with his opponent.
Ferguson tries to score a body lock takedown but Steele shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Ferguson tries to break the clinch but Steele is controlling the position. Ferguson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Steele gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Steele decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ferguson, up you get! Ferguson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steele pinned against the cage. Steele gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isaiah Ferguson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ferguson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steele can do anything to dispel that myth. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steele has his hands clasped together around Ferguson's back. He's all about the action. Steele pushes Ferguson off and gets back to his feet. Isaiah Ferguson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferguson has managed to clinch.
Steele is working for takedown but Ferguson is calmly controlling the position for now. Ferguson struggles to land a body shot inside as Steele controls his hands.
Steele is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ferguson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Steele keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ferguson's efforts to push away. Steele turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Steele manages to end up in side control. Steele is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Ferguson's shoulder. That is not cool. Steele passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ferguson! Steele controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steele cracks Ferguson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ferguson is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Steele takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Steele has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Ferguson is forced to tap!
