Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Humpington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Max Frank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carl Humpington! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Humpington tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Frank manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Humpington doesn't succeed with the takedown and Frank counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Frank content to control rather than advance. Frank knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Humpington on the ground. Humpington looks like he's trying to stand up.
Humpington is pressing down on Frank's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frank trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Humpington working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Frank doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Frank manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Humpington trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Humpington controls Frank momentarily but Frank frees himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Humpington lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Frank!
That's one minute gone in the round. Frank is wriggling around trying to escape.
Frank might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Frank is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Humpington is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Frank can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Humpington working for a guillotine from mount but Frank is in no mood to give up. Frank defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Humpington.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frank tries to lock up and control but Humpington gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Humpington has hold of Frank's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Frank manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Humpington can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Frank is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Humpington is working for a guillotine from mount but Frank frees his head quite easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Frank wants to control his opponent's hands but Humpington gets his hands free. Frank is in bad spot here.
Frank won't enjoy being in this position. Humpington looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Frank is tapping - it's over boys! Humpington picks up the submission victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Carl Humpington! In his post fight interview, Carl Humpington started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
