Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rob Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shea Cuervo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuervo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Power's waist but Power gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cuervo off to one side.
Power connects with a nice looking jab.
Horrible takedown by Cuervo or perhaps it was just good defense by Power which made him look bad.
Power lands with a nice body punch.
Power lands with a kick to the ribs.
Cuervo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Power scores with a nice right hand.
Power lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Power works Cuervo's body with a nice hook.
Power throws a quick inside leg kick.
Power with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cuervo looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cuervo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Power.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Power throws a head kick but Cuervo moves out of range.
Power scores with a nice right hand.
Cuervo is rocked!
It looks like Shea Cuervo has been cut.
Left hook, right uppercut from Power.
Cuervo is still on wobbly legs! Can Power finish him?
Cuervo looks up at the clock. Bad move! Power lands a right hand from hell, dropping Cuervo. Power pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Power!
