Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Vladimirov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kasim Akande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vladimirov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Avril Lavigne - What the ...?!!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Fedor Vladimirov will probably get the nod.

Akande drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee asks Akande politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Akande prefers to stall for the moment though.
Akande thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Akande is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vladimirov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Akande throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Akande is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Vladimirov looks calm but he's in trouble here. Akande gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Vladimirov is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Akande lets go of the hold and Vladimirov can pop his arm back in it's socket.
