Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Salamador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zaq Wu Sang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wu Sang has chosen Europe - Rock the Night as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Salamador! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zaq Wu Sang! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wu Sang moves away from the strike by Salamador. Wu Sang avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Salamador misses with an uppercut. Salamador gets caught napping as Wu Sang dives in and scores a takedown. Salamador manages to retain guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Wu Sang sitting in guard here, content to control. Wu Sang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Salamador works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Salamador working for a triangle but Wu Sang defends it easily.
Salamador has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wu Sang can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wu Sang seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wu Sang stands up over Salamador, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wu Sang stopping the sweep attempt from Salamador. Wu Sang is looking to work some ground and pound but Salamador has wrist control. Salamador throws his legs up looking for a submission but Wu Sang uses it to pass to side control.
Salamador is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salamador is working hard here to advance position. Wu Sang is looking to take a break and control but Salamador is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wu Sang throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Wu Sang lands an elbow. Salamador is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wu Sang off and has taken his back! Wu Sang trying to control the position but Salamador manages to sink in the hooks. Wu Sang covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Salamador misses with punches from the back. Salamador missing with punches from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wu Sang trying to control the hands but Salamador won't let him. Salamador throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Salamador doesn't have the hooks in and Wu Sang manages to turn into his guard.
Wu Sang sitting in guard here, content to control. Wu Sang trying to control but Salamador is working from the bottom. Wu Sang connects with a couple of short punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wu Sang in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Salamador had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wu Sang defends it easily. Wu Sang trying to control but Salamador is working from the bottom. Wu Sang showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Wu Sang trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wu Sang sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Salamador's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zaq Wu Sang dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Wu Sang throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Salamador throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Salamador moves in looking to clinch but Wu Sang pushes him off. Salamador tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Salamador scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Wu Sang manages to get back to half guard. Wu Sang has a hand on Salamador's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Salamador takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Wu Sang regains half guard. Wu Sang avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Salamador. Wu Sang is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Salamador scores with a couple of nice shots. Salamador is keen to just control but Wu Sang is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wu Sang tries to get to full guard but Salamador has control of the leg. Wu Sang regains full guard. Nicely done. Wu Sang looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salamador is one step ahead there. Wu Sang keeping moving, preventing Salamador from controlling successfully. Salamador throws an elbow that misses. Wu Sang uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Salamador's guard. Nice move by Wu Sang! Salamador escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wu Sang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Salamador keeping full guard, as Wu Sang tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wu Sang is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Salamador has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Wu Sang is looking to defend but Salamador has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Wu Sang! Salamador pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Wu Sang taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jack Salamador!
