Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and licht gewicht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabbit kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Hero by Skillet. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Rabbit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, licht gewicht!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Rabbit.
gewicht feints and as Rabbit raises his hands in defense, gewicht changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
gewicht is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rabbit is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rabbit has escaped and now he's on top!
gewicht looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rabbit has picked gewicht up and slammed him! gewicht can't keep hold of the triangle and Rabbit manages to pass to side control!

gewicht trying to control but Rabbit flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rabbit doesn't have the hooks in and gewicht manages to turn into his guard.
Rabbit wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rabbit wants to clinch up but gewicht keeps it at a distance.

Rabbit tries to clinch but gewicht is having none of it.

gewicht seems to have recovered his senses.

gewicht goes for a takedown attempt but Rabbit pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Rabbit tries to clinch up but gewicht circles away and keeps his distance.

gewicht has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rabbit clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Rabbit rolls, trying to escape but gewicht keeps control of the position.

Will gewicht go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
gewicht has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
gewicht is trying to control but Rabbit is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Rabbit is wriggling around trying to escape.
gewicht jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rabbit is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rabbit and gewicht has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Rabbit is looking for a sweep.
gewicht trying to control the action but Rabbit is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Rabbit dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rabbit with a nice cross.

gewicht fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
gewicht shoots in looking for a takedown. Rabbit tries to sprawl out of it but gewicht keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rabbit manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
gewicht avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Johnny Rabbit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of licht gewicht.
Rabbit drops gewicht with a huge uppercut! gewicht drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Rabbit is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Rabbit!
