Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Ennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Ennis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ennis fails with the takedown

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Ennis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

so Johnson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Johnson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Ennis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Johnson is working away from the top position though.

Johnson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ennis kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Ennis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ennis or not.

Johnson dips a shoulder and cracks Ennis with a mighty uppercut! Ennis falls back against the cage and Johnson unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ennis is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Johnson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andy Johnson!
As Andy Johnson got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: You can't touch this shit. Im gonna be the best ever!'.
