Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyndon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Mullard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Lyndon Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lyndon Jones! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Andre Mullard! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones misses with a straight left. A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Mullard does a little dance to reset his feet. Jones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones throws a lazy right hand but Mullard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. No joy there for Mullard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones scores with a body shot.
Mullard throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease. A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target. Horrible takedown by Mullard or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad. Jones scores with a punch to the head. Mullard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones. Jones misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones connects with a looping right hand.
Jones thows a body shot but no joy. Mullard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Mullard misses with a wild combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Mullard does a little dance to reset his feet. Mullard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mullard trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mullard on the ground. Mullard slips nicely into half guard. Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position. Mullard thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mullard is looking to advance position but Jones won't allow it. Mullard not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Mullard is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mullard to get the leverage. Mullard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones is trying to stand up here but Mullard is controlling him well. Jones won't allow Mullard to pass to mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Mullard passes to full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mullard sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Mullard is landing with some decent strikes but Jones is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Jones avoids a strike by Mullard and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Mullard's guard! Fantastic escape!
Mullard manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mullard working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Jones is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Mullard with a couple of short strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mullard softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Jones is out cold! Mullard jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andre Mullard! Andre Mullard retains his heavyweight title! Andre Mullard managed to slip a mention for his sponsors, Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire, into his post fight interview.
