Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Gambino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chwytny Vlad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frankie Gambino has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frankie Gambino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Chwytny Vlad!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlad fails with the takedown
and Gambino counters with a nice body kick.
Vlad on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Gambino shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Vlad eats them both and turns towards Gambino to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gambino lands with a straight right. Vlad didn't see that one coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gambino throws a push kick but Vlad slaps the foot to one side.
Gambino fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vlad.
Vlad stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gambino.
Vlad tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gambino paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Gambino counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Vlad checks a leg kick nicely.
Vlad shoots and misses
and Gambino counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Frankie Gambino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chwytny Vlad.
Gambino tried to score with a low kick but Vlad checks it.
Gambino throws a front kick that sends Vlad stumbling back into the cage.
Frankie Gambino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Gambino counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gambino lands a leg kick that knocks Vlad off balance momentarily.

Gambino cracks a nice hook into Vlad's ribs.
Gambino stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gambino wants it to stay on the feet.

Vlad takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Vlad looks gassed!
Gambino is looking to score with low kicks.
Good leg kick by Gambino there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gambino ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Vlad tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gambino manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vlad blocks the body kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gambino, as that shot connected.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vlad is defended easily by Gambino.

Gambino tries a low kick but Vlad avoids it.
Nice straight punches there by Gambino. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gambino.
Gambino cracks the inside of Vlad's front leg.
Vlad tries to clinch
and Gambino makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Gambino shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Gambino scores with a jab to the jaw.
Vlad with a poor takedown
and Gambino counters with a nice low kick that buckles Vlad's knee momentarily.
Gambino is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Gambino's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gambino duly obliges.

Gambino lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gambino fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vlad manages to avoid it.
Gambino scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vlad doesn't seem bothered though.
An inside leg kick lands from Gambino.
Gambino misses with a body kick.
Gambino dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gambino feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vlads jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gambino is looking to score with low kicks.
Gambino misses with a low kick as Vlad jumps back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frankie Gambino dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gambino takes a swing at Vlad's ribcage but misses.
Gambino works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Gambino throws a low kick but it's checked well by Vlad.
Gambino swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Vlad might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Gambino has got the better of the exchanges.
Gambino throws a predictable looking body shot
and Vlad counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gambino!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Vlad throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Vlad throws some wild stikes that Gambino manages to avoid easily.
Vlad throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gambino because Vlad loaded up on that one.

It looks like Frankie Gambino has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vlad can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gambino is looking to escape.

Vlad working for a guillotine from mount but Gambino is in no mood to give up.
Vlad jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gambino manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gambino is not content to let Vlad control the position.

Vlad misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vlad throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Vlad tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gambino is not content to let Vlad control the position.

Vlad misses with the ground and pound.
Gambino is pushing Vlad's head away, looking to escape. Vlad manages to hold on to the position though.

Vlad postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The referee asks Vlad politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Vlad prefers to stall for the moment though.

Chwytny Vlad showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Gambino's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Gambino throws a chopping leg kick but Vlad manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Vlad will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Vlad takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Vlad takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Vlad chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gambino can pounce on him.
Frankie Gambino is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gambino wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nice uppercut there from Gambino.
Gambino lands a left and a right that send Vlad crashing to the mat, dazed. Gambino thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Vlad is rocked!
It looks like Chwytny Vlad has been cut.
Vlad is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.
Gambino ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Vlad out cold! The fight is over!

Frankie Gambino was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
