The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee clinches with his opponent.

Lee controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Hall is looking for a triangle but Lee pushes his legs off easily.

Hall wants to sweep but no luck.

Hall is looking for a triangle here but Lee uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Sloppy strikes from Lee. Those never looked like landing.
Lee feints a jab promting Hall to slip. Lee then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hall slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Jesse Hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hall takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Einar Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Einar Lee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Lee has closed the distance and engaged Hall in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hall is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lee is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hall to the mat. Hall regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Hall swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
Hall drops his hands momentarily and Lee takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hall circles away quickly and effectively.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lee drives through with a takedown into Hall's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Hall has an active guard here but Lee has managed to pass into half guard.

and Lee counters with a head kick.
