Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakansson misses with a series of wild punches.
Hakansson is looking to clinch.
Scott throws a quick inside leg kick.
Scott does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hakansson swinging wilding here.
Hakansson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hakansson wants to get back to striking at distance but Scott won't allow it.
Scott tries to pull guard but Hakansson holds him up against the cage and eventually Scott drops back down to his feet.
Hakansson can't break the clinch.

Scott is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hakansson fails to pull guard.

Scott jumps into guard, dragging Hakansson to the mat.
Scott scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Scott fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hakansson checks it well.
Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hakansson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
BOOM! Scott connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Scott is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hakansson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Scott tries to get the hooks in deep but Hakansson pushed the leg off.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Scott is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hakansson is defending well though. Scott let's go of the attempt for now.
